Dahua Technology Supports 2nd Westmeath Scout Group's Journey of Personal Growth and Social Interaction

Dublin, Ireland  — Dahua Technology, a leading provider of innovative video surveillance solutions, is proud to announce its contribution to the 2nd Westmeath Scout Group in Athlone.  The company is supporting the planning of an exciting trip across Eastern Europe, aimed at fostering personal growth and social interactions among its 15-18-year-old members.

The trip, scheduled from June 27th to July 6th, will take the scouts to captivating destinations including Dubrovnik, Zagreb, Budapest, Bratislava, and Krakow. Through this journey, the young scouts will have the opportunity to broaden their horizons, gain valuable life experiences, and forge lasting friendships.

Recognising the financial challenges faced by many families, the 2nd Westmeath Scout Group is determined to keep the trip's cost to a minimum. They are actively engaged in fundraising efforts to supplement the expenses, ensuring that families are not burdened with a significant financial strain. Dahua Technology's support and sponsorship has been instrumental in alleviating the pressure on the group's dedicated leaders, who are generously contributing their own time and resources to make this extraordinary trip possible.

Keith Touhy,  Scout Leader and Director at FT Security said “This experience is a chance in a lifetime for many in our group, we are pleased to be able to offer this to our scout group and Dahua’s contribution both financially and through different experiences is very much appreciated”.

Michael Lawrence, Marketing Director at Dahua Technology UK & Ireland added “Dahua Technology is committed to empowering communities and fostering the development of young individuals.  We are delighted to support the scout group and this activity”.
